Q. What is frosting?
A. Frosting is when the top or sides of the wax has a crystalline, white-ish color coating. Frosting occurs because the wax naturally forms crystalline structures as it cools and hardens.
Q. Why do my Greener Pastures candles sometimes have frosting but candles I buy from other stores do not?
A. Greener Pastures Candle company does not use any additives in order to eliminate frosting. Additives can be harmful or even alter the fragrance of the candle.
Q. Will frosting affect the way my candle burns?
A. No, absolutely not.
Q. Can I custom order?
A. Yes, we do accept custom and/or bulk orders for events such as parties, weddings etc... Simply click on the contact button in the main menu to request a custom order. Keep in mind that we will need time to prepare your order. Candles must cure for 1-2 weeks before being burned in order to reach their optimal fragrance throw. We will prepare any scents in the color of your choosing or without color and will work with you if you prefer custom labels. Please contact us to inquire. We will send free sample tea lights for anticipated large orders.
Q. If I'm in search of a specific scent or blend but Greener Pastures does not carry it, can I request it?
A. Yes, although we cannot guarantee success, we will look to create the scent you are looking for and alert you once it's ready to order. Should we not hit the mark, we will keep trying however we do not offer refunds with this service should you not love what we come up with.
Q. Why did my wick mushroom and fall into the wax? I'm unable to burn my candle all the way through now.
A. This answer can also be found in our candle care tips section in the main menu. It is crucial to always trim your wick to about a quarter inch before every burn in order to avoid this super frustrating candle disaster. This is true with any candle you purchase.
